Press down to open the vee cable guide and insert the cable all the way to the stop. Hold the cable in one hand rotate the tool a couple of times and pull out. The jacket can be easily peeled off since it was ring cut and slit lengthwise. The blade automatically rotates on a friction free precision ball bearing.
